Built with backcountry durability, crowd avoidance, and all-day comfort in mind, the Farout comes outfitted with our lightweight Aluminum Splitboard-Specific Chassis, a quick and easy Pinless Speed-Rail Mounting System, and Toolless Forward Lean Adjustments with Touring Mode to ensure things are as effortless as possible when out past the gates.

Every splitboarder knows the best turns usually are not found inside the resort boundaries. The K2 Farout is built to help you access your favorite backcountry terrain and minimize the time spent transitioning to and from split and descent modes. The Farout's mid-to-stiff flexing aluminum chassis is incredibly strong and is CNC machined with the maximum amount of cutouts to keep weight to an absolute minimum while climbing. The highback is made from tough and durable Lexan and easily flips between tour mode and descent mode with the push of a lever for comfort on the skin track. While in split mode, the bindings can be locked down in just seconds for tricky descents by sliding the heel lock into place, and released just as quickly when it's time to keep climbing. The Sender 3D ankle strap is padless yet extremely comfortable and cuts energy-sapping ounces to get you further into the mountains. Our PerfectFit 2.0 toe strap hinges to adjust to any snowboard boot shape for maximum response and feel, and both straps feature our CamLock centering technology to square the straps on your feet. Lastly, the smooth sliding buckles are built from lightweight, durable aluminum and feature our EZ Feed design to make strapping-in a breeze.
