K2 Marauder Split Package
$1,049.95
Built as a workhorse to access any backcountry zone, the K2 Marauder Splitboard Package is the perfect partner for the skin track and reliable atop a steep couloir. The core is built from three species of sustainable timber and is surrounded by our ICG 10 Biaxially Woven Fiberglass with Carbon for stability and snap on both the ascent and descent. Weaving Carbon Fiber stringers into the fiberglass gives the Marauder liveliness without adding extra weight or overdoing it on the torsional rigidity. Our Sintered P-Tex sidewalls are extremely durable, create a smooth, damp feel, and help us reduce overall waste during the manufacturing process. Our tough-as-nails matte top sheet material helps us keep the weight down for cruising on the skin track, and our Sintered 4000 base is hard and durable. Simply put, a sintered base retains wax better for long days in the alpine. We know backcountry touring can put a beating on your board, both on the way up and on the way back down, so we used a black material along the riding surface for seamless repairs after those inevitable rock encounters. This Marauder Package is equipped with Voile-style binding mount pucks, mounting hardware, and pre-cut Pomoca 70/30 Mohair Blend skins. The Marauder Split Package pairs perfectly with the K2 Far Out splitboard binding and the K2 Swiftstick 3-piece collapsible pole. - BAP Core: Three-species blend of renewable timber to make a strong, lightweight, and durable core. - ICG 10 Carbon Glass: Increases pop, liveliness, and longevity of the snowboard without adding unnecessary rigidity. - Sintered 4000 Base: Absorbs wax easily for relentless glide and unrivaled durability. - Splitrack Inserts: Narrow channels take the place of standard binding screw inserts for nearly unlimited stance widths and binding placement. - Pomoca Skins: All K2 Splitboards are sold with 70/30 Nylon/Mohair Pomoca Touring Skins for superior grip and glide.
K2 Party Platter
$499.95
Many “shaped” snowboards are built to zero in on one specific riding style - this is NOT one of those snowboards. The K2 Party Platter is purpose-built to be a daily driver for slashing berms, laying down carves, and plowing your way through thigh-deep pow. To give the directional, mid-flexing Party Platter a versatile and playful feel, we built it on a Combination Camber profile that drops camber in between the feet and mellow rocker just outside the bindings. This provides stability at higher speeds and allows the edges to track and hold while carving, retaining an easy pivoting feel for smooth ground tricks. Our Volume Shift™ design minimizes toe and heel drag and provides float in deep snow. The BAP Core is built from sustainably harvested timber and gives the board a smooth and even flex while absorbing vibration and chatter for control in all conditions. Our Carbon Ollie Bar™ is strategically placed between the inserts, giving the Party Platter big-time snap and rebound for launching side hits. Biaxially woven fiberglass wraps the core, delivering finely tuned edge hold depending on how and where pressure is applied to the board. The icing on the cake is our Sintered 4000 base, composed of a supremely tough and durable material that soaks up wax like a sponge and gives you the speed you want for lacing pow turns or lining up the big jump in the park. Feature 1: BAP Core - A tri-blend wood core harnesses the rebound, strength, and feel of sustainably harvested Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia timber species. Feature 2: Biax Glass - A fiberglass weave intersecting at 90º angles provides the proper torsional flexibility and strength. Feature 3: Ollie Bar™ - A pre-cambered carbon inlay centered between the inserts specifically designed to add snap and pop to every ollie and takeoff. Feature 4: Hybritech™ Sidewall Construction - A K2 exclusive. By transitioning from a P-Tex sidewall into a capped construction in the tip and tail of our snowboards, we can reduce waste while giving our snowboards better energy transfer and making them more durable than our competitors. Feature 5: Sintered 4000 Base - Hard, fast, and durable, our Sintered Base material holds wax better than extruded materials increasing speed and glide. Feature 6: Volume Shift™ - We reduce swing weight and toe/heel drag by shifting surface area from the tip and tail to the waist of the snowboard. Downsize from 4-10 cm from your usual snowboard length.
K2 Dreamsicle

By transitioning from a P-Tex sidewall into a capped construction in the tip and tail of our snowboards, we can reduce waste while giving our snowboards better energy transfer and making them more durable than our competitors.
